Tighten your fasteners to the proper spec without a torque wrench, keep your fasteners and small tools, and use your smartphone to diagnose what ails your vehicle with these new tools available at Summit Racing.
Not everyone has a torque wrench or carries one around with them. ACDelco created this nifty Digital Torque Adapter that turns any standard 1/2 inch ratchet or breaker bar into a precise, torque tightening machine. The adapter has modes for making static torque measurements as well as torque and measurement settings. The adapter has an LCD display reads in the 25-250 lbs.-ft. and can be set to read lbs.-in., kg-cm, and N-m measurements.
If we had a nickel for every time we dropped a metal bolt, part, or you name it when working on our vehicles, we’d have a lot of nickels and would use them to buy a Summit Racing Magnetic Tray Organizer Kit. The trays attach to your tool box or cabinet and hold small parts, fasteners, tools, etc. in place so they won’t come up missing when you need them the most.
You can use your smartphone to diagnose problems with your car with the MaxiAP AP200 Diagnostic Tool. It connects directly to your vehicle’s data link connector (DLC) and communicates with your Android or iOS device wirelessly via Bluetooth. It can determine DTCs, clear trouble codes, resets monitors and reminders, and much more.
