MotorSports: DiBenedetto Will Head Up Xfinity Test At IMS
On Jan 15th,2020, IMS owner Roger Penske announced that the NASCAR Xfinity Series will run the road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, July 4, 2020. Xfinity Driver Matt DiBenedetto will discuss his experiences during a media confab after the historic first test of the IMS road course.
DiBenedetto will serve as the driver during the single-car test, which takes place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The inaugural Xfinity Series race on the road course, sponsored by Pennzoil, is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4 during the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line event weekend.
